Festival season is well underway, and there have already been some unforgettable highlights. But, if you’ve still not had your fix, then you’re in luck: plenty of August festivals still have last-minute tickets available to satisfy all types of music fans. From a punk-rock festival in Slovenia to a week-long EDM party and multiple beach raves, here is our guide for those who thought they had left it too late to schedule one (or several) festivals into their summer plans.
Rally 2023
August 5, Southwark Park, London, United Kingdom
A new community-focused festival that aims to celebrate London’s music and art communities will debut in the capital this weekend. Princess Nokia, Squid, Wu-Lu, Obongjayar, Kelly Lee Owens, Loraine James and Lucinda Chua are just some of the underground outliers set to perform.
Punk Rock Holiday 2.3
August 8–12, Tolmin, Slovenia
Festivals don’t get more unique than a five-day punk-rock spectacle in Slovenia. An absolute must for genre diehards, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls headline the main stage.
Sziget Festival 2023
August 8–15, Budapest, Hungary
With more than 40 venues across the island, international megastars Billie Eilish, Lorde, Niall Horan and David Guetta headline, while our party venue, TicketSwap Colosseum - a nine-metre high, 3,000-capacity, sustainably-built amphitheatre with a DJ booth shaped like a gladiator helmet - hosts DJ sets from Paula Templ, Mall Grab, Rebekah and Partiboi69.
Dreambeach Festival 2023
August 9–13, Dreambeach Villaricos, Cuevas Del Almanzora, Spain
A five-day dance music summer extravaganza on the Spanish coast, globally-renowned EDM, trance and dubstep titans Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox and The Prodigy are sure to bring plenty of good vibes.
Loveland
August 12–13, Sloterpark, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Stunning lakeside views and banging techno with sets from top underground DJs Chris Liebing, Joyhauser, Len Faki, Maceo Plex and Tale Of Us.
SWF 2023
August 19, Havenpark, Amsterdam, Netherlands
This all-dayer in one of Amsterdam’s many parks will host some of the hottest house and techno acts, including The Blessed Madonna, Fisher, Pretty Girl and Sally C.
DELTA FESTIVAL 2023: Dream Edition
August 23–27, Plage Du Prado, Marseille, France
This three-day beach festival in France combines music, sports and arts. With Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz and Charlotte de Witte all booked, techno fans are spoilt for choice, while European popstar Angèle will provide a different vibe.
AMA Music Festival 2023
August 23–27, Villa Ca' Cornaro, Vicenza, Italy
This five-day event series in Italy, which takes place in a villa outside of Vicenza, has something for all types of music fan: from Turnstile, White Lies and Yungblud to Cypress Hill and Megadeth.
Riverland Festival 2023
August 24–26, Casino De Asturias, Gijón, Spain
Spanish trap and Latin artists Maria Becerra, Duki, Rels B and Natti Natasha will prove why the local scene is so exciting at this festival which also boasts art installations and workshops.
Nibirii Festival
August 24-27, Dürener Badesee, Düren, Germany
Four forest and lakeside stages will host DJ sets from KUKO, KlangKuenstler, Moonclipse and Lawyn. Reinier Zonneveld’s live show is a top tip, too.
